Hello! My name is Jada, and I hold an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from Carleton University. I am currently entering my final year of the Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program at McGill University. I have always had a passion for working with children and supporting their communication development in meaningful and engaging ways.
Since the summer of 2023, I have been working as a Speech-Language Assistant, where I’ve gained hands-on experience with articulation, early intervention, individuals on the autism spectrum, literacy, and phonological awareness. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients of various ages and from diverse backgrounds, helping me build a well-rounded and inclusive approach to care.
Throughout my master’s program and clinical placements, I am continuously expanding my knowledge and skills to provide evidence-based, effective support tailored to each client. I’m deeply committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where individuals feel empowered to communicate and grow.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, attending workout classes, and spending quality time with friends and family. I’m excited to bring my passion and experience to therapy with your family!

Hi there, my name is Megan.
As I pursue my studies in business administration with a focus on accounting at SAIT, I’ve been fortunate to apply my knowledge at The Talk Spot. After completing my studies, I aspire to gain experience and knowledge as a speech-language pathologist assistant. Growing up, I loved playing imaginary games outdoors, putting on plays, and ensuring the kids felt safe and happy in my mom’s dayhome. These experiences have fueled my passion for caring for others and using play as a powerful tool for learning.
What truly fascinates me about communication is its integral role in everything we do. The ability to connect, share ideas, and understand one another is central to our interactions and relationships. This fascination drives my desire to delve deeper into the field of speech-language pathology.
I’m eager to continue working with kids and learning from them. Viewing the world through a child’s eyes helps me grow both personally and professionally. In addition to my work at The Talk Spot, I provide childcare for families in my area and have been blessed to travel out of province to help families while they attend work events.
In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, spending time in nature, and journaling. I’m here to assist with any scheduling needs and look forward to providing in-home speech and language services in the near future!
